Player Handicap Seeding for missing players:
If for some reason players are no show or playing against a blind, and no substitutions have been made, you will play the opponent that is listed in the APP regardless of the difference in handicaps.
Player with no opponent -> Play against par with (2) additional strokes added to your handicap - must earn all points
Teams with neither opponents -> Both players play against par with (2) additional strokes added to each handicap - both players from the team must earn all points
Handicapping:
Your scores will be calculated each week and computed to establish and maintain a LEAGUE HANDICAP.
Returning players:
If you are a returning player, your handicap will carry over from the previous season
New player handicap options:

Other proven handicap system (Ghint, 18 Birdies etc) approved by the 9-Hole League Director X’s 90%
No established Handicap:
You will start as a scratch (zero handicap)
Calculation:
Your best 4 scores out of your last 10 will be used for your league handicap-100%
If you do not have 4 scores, we will drop the following high scores to establish handicap:
(1) Round - No dropped scores
(2-3) Rounds - (1) highest score dropped
(4-6) Rounds - (2) highest scores dropped
(7-9) Rounds - (3) highest scores dropped
Round up at .5 or higher
Equitable Stroke Control(ESC) is in play – Maximum allowed per hole is NET PAR + 2 strokes.
Picking up or conceding to your opponent will result in ESC
Missing scores on cards will have 6(par 3), 7(par 4) and 8(par 5) entered and automatic loss of hole. Adjusted to net.
18 is the MAX HANDICAP allowed for calculations (the APP may show higher, but it will not be used)
The Max Handicap DIFFERENCE during a match is limited to 18. (i.e. If Player A is a PLUS 2 and player B is an 18 (max Handicap), we limit the total of allowable stroke per match to a total of 18). This means that no player will get more than TWO STROKES on any hole.
